Friendly nice place. Good service and food. Nice place to stop and eat.
Ordered a Grouper sandwich, but the fish was the same breaded "fish sticks" that were on my wife's Lake Perch order - dry. On a bun - not toasted. Could be better. No side salad offered ... only fries or Cole slaw swimming in mayo. Service is good - very quick and friendly.
The only negative remark I need to provide was that someone I'm assuming to be the manager or owner was verbally disciplining an employee. I'm of the belief that any of that should be out of earshot of the customers.
The outside patio has a beautiful view of the river, and they even offered water for our puppy.
Highly recommend the paddle boat nachos. The red pepper aoli was delicious! Coleslaw was saucy and tasty. Burger was served medium (I prefer medium rare) but was surprisingly flavorful and juicy.
Omitting that one fact, great experience and will be back.
The salmon was delicious and their lobster bisque was good as well. My husband had the classic burger which he enjoyed, but said a better bun, maybe toasted would have been better. The owner was our server, he was very personable and I enjoyed his wine recommendation.
